Werner de Jager

Werner de Jager is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and has retailing in his blood. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and was an Associate Director in the Consumer and Industrial Products & Services division when he decided to move on after 11 years at the firm. As many accountants do Werner joined Cashbuild (an audit client) as Financial Director on 1^st December 2004. In March 2011 he changed roles and took up the position of Marketing & Procurement Director for the group for one year until being appointed CEO on the 1^stMarch 2012.

 

Cashbuild is a dynamic company with an excellent management team that has been trading for over 40 years, bringing building materials to all the communities in the 7 different southern African countries they operate in. The group has been listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange since 1986.
