Michael Grampp

With over 20 years of professional consulting, operational and research experience, Michael Grampp advises Deloitte’s clients and leadership alike on economic issues and various industry topics.

 

He is Chief Economist for Deloitte Switzerland and leads the research and brand department. Research activities focuses on macroeconomic topics, financial services, manufacturing and consumer business and on cross-industry topics as innovation, future of work and sustainability.

 

Michael is part of Deloitte’s Global Economists network and leads the European CFO Survey, a major initiative of Deloitte’s EMEA CFO Programme, presenting the opinions of almost 1,500 CFOs from 20 countries, comparing national sentiments and strategies used to deal with the current political and economic environment.

 

He holds a master’s degree in economics from University of Erlangen-Nuernberg/Germany, an Executive Master degree in Marketing from the University of Lucerne/Switzerland and a PhD in business administration from Leipzig University/Germany. In addition, he is Guest Lecturer at ZHAW University of Applied Sciences Switzerland where he teaches Advanced Research Methodology.
