Sony Kapoor is the interdisciplinary Professor of Geoeconomics, Climate and Finance at the European University Institute in Florence, CEO of the Nordic Institute for Finance, Technology and Society in Oslo, and an advisor to several G-20 governments, large institutional investors, international institutions, multinationals, and technology start-ups. His many contributions to improving global economic governance, long- term finance, tackling climate change, technological development, and crisis management are well known and he has been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, a Young European Leader by Friends of Europe and as a Fellow by the RSA.
