The Day After Tomorrow has been given a name. It is has become The Day After Covid-19. What does it mean for a company? What does it mean for you and me that are in business? The answer is simple and not new at all. More than ever: extreme customer centricity is a must. Connect to many will be easier than ever before and engage individuals will be more important than ever before. Combining both is a matter of survival. In this keynote, Rik sets the scene and warns leadership to not just freeze a company in a temporary coma, but to act right now and at full force. The Two Faces of Innovation

  • Pascal Coppens   Ken Hughes
  • Global DIY-Network

The Covid-19 Crisis is an unprecedented catalyst for change. This shock will rewrite the rules of the game and accelerate, amongst others, socio-economic and technological trends that were already happening. The only way forward is to change and adapt to the new reality. Quickly. We believe the fastest economic rebound will most probably take place in Asia, and in China in particular. The continent has learned from previous crises and was better prepared. But it’s the dynamism, agility, and the speed of change of Asian companies that now sets them apart. They’re known for their resilience and they learned to operate in highly dynamic, fast-growing markets, against the same backdrop of digital disruption and rapidly evolving consumer demands. China's innovative mindset will propel Asian companies and economies at large to become global frontrunners, set the pace and lead the way out of the crisis. Silicon Valley and China’s tech ecosystem cities (such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shanghai) are the fastest evolving innovation hubs in the world. But inspiration from pioneering startups, corporates and academics from these distant corners of the globe should not be an ‘either, or’ story. Each has its very own background, innovation DNA, culture, methods and strategies. Each has the potential to trigger you in ways you’d never thought possible.
